Grab your binoculars and join Barefoot Joel to welcome the return of fall migratory birds at California's oldest regional park, a diverse wildlife sanctuary connected to the 400-acre wildlife corridor No Orange Heights is working to preserve.

Stop frequently to observe, identify, appreciate and photograph native birds. Listen for songs and calls. Learn how different species adapted to the Woodland, Grassland, Coastal Sage Scrub and Riparian ecosystems.

Chances of encountering white-crowned sparrows, yellow-rumped warblers, cedar waxwings and other seasonal favorites. Bring a hat, water and snacks. Fun for the whole family!

DIFFICULTY: Roughly 1-2 miles round-trip with minimal elevation gain. Some uneven terrain. Mix of sun and shade.
